Dean is an Independent Consultant currently advising in the field of decommissioning, demolition and disposal of offshore oil and gas facilities in Australian waters.  This work has provided significant insight into the supply chain challenges Australia faces as the country transitions from operations to decommissioning in many industries. The common theme amongst all industries is the efficient segregation, economic recycling and responsible disposal of all waste streams in accordance with the relevant legislative framework. 

Dean is an Offshore/Projects Engineer with over 25 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry primarily related to installation, construction and commissioning of offshore facilities. He has a keen interest in planning for decommissioning during greenfield facility design, facility deconstruction and waste management.
